STEM Lab Paraprofessional

North District Middle School seeks an energetic and highly motivated person who enjoys working with students in grades K-5! The candidate should possess classroom management skills. Understands how to incorporate curriculum and engaging projects to expose students to inquiry-based learning. We are seeking someone who understands how to facilitate lessons instead of lecturing. The candidate should know how to use different technology to bring learning to life. We prefer interested candidates to take students on an exploration of learning, allowing them to learn by doing.
You must be willing to learn and have a teachable spirit. Work well with a diverse population of students with all levels of learning capacity. Ability to work Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm. Ability to participate in weekly planning and learning sessions.  This is a point effort with Voorhees University.
The STEM Instructor position is to coordinate daily operations and provide classroom instruction based on the STEM and State curriculum. STEM U, LLC curriculum is based on the ISTE standards. We will provide training.
Experience/knowledge in working with children in a classroom setting.
