Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar using EHR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- Handle patient intake, including collecting necessary information and verifying insurance coverage.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with medical collections and review care plans as needed.
- Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Facilitate communication between patients and dental staff to ensure a seamless experience.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, and maintaining organized patient records.
- Utilize computer skills effectively to manage office tasks and documentation review.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical administrative support role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle patient interactions professionally.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and typing skills are required; 10-key typing experience is a plus.
