Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas
- Conduct detailed floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain a spotless appearance
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health standards, paying special attention to high-touch areas
- Maintain cleanliness of appliances and fixtures, including sinks, countertops, appliances, and furniture
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs for restocking or replacement
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred; hotel housekeeping experience is a plus
- Knowledge of residential cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning practices
- Familiarity with floor care methods and carpet cleaning equipment
- Experience with sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to manage laundry operations efficiently
- Housekeeping management experience is advantageous for supervisory roles
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
