Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, scrubbing, and applying appropriate floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Follow established cleaning protocols for industrial or specialized cleaning tasks when necessary
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly for optimal performance
- Assist with managing housekeeping supplies inventory and report shortages or maintenance needs promptly
- Support hospitality standards by responding swiftly to guest requests for additional cleaning or amenities
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors
- Prior hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality industry standards is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising team members is a plus
