Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, brewing coffee, and specialty drinks using POS system Clover.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
- Set up and maintain the breakfast service area, ensuring food safety standards are met and food handling procedures are followed diligently.
- Manage card handling and cashiering duties efficiently, including processing payments.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and breakfast areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Engage with guests to promote sales of food and beverages while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours, utilizing strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. (serve safe certified).
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and knowledge of brewing processes is a plus. (TIPS certified)
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality who thrives on creating memorable experiences with our guests at beginning and at the end of their stay.
