Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide attentive in-person customer service throughout breakfast hours
- Prepare and serve breakfast items, ensuring food presentation meets quality standards and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, food stations, and kitchen equipment by following proper sanitizing procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including coffee machines, toasters, and warming stations
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and basic food preparation tasks to support smooth service flow
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle weight-based food items with care
- Uphold food safety management practices by adhering to sanitizing protocols, proper storage, and hygiene standards
- Support catering or banquet setups when needed, ensuring all food is served promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining, restaurant service, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and basic food handling techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and perform manual handling tasks with care
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude in in-person interactions
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
- Experience with wine knowledge or barista skills is a plus but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and portion control
- Prior banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory
