Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries promptly
- Assist guests with reservations, cancellations, and modifications to their bookings
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain accurate records of guest details, billing information, and special requests
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared to high standards
- Support night audit procedures by reconciling daily financial transactions and preparing reports
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners
- Multilingual skills or bilingual ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and proficiency in multi-line phone systems
- Ability to handle guest relations diplomatically and resolve issues efficiently
- Knowledge of hospitality management software is a plus; willingness to learn new systems required
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed
- Prior hotel experience or resort background is advantageous but not mandatory
