Front Desk Agent (part-time)

This position is for Saturday and Sunday afternoons 3pm to 11pm.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage guest check-in and check-out efficiently using hotel management software
• Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries promptly
• Assist guests with reservations, cancellations, and modifications to their bookings
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
• Maintain accurate records of guest details, billing information, and special requests
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared to high standards
• Support night audit procedures by reconciling daily financial transactions and preparing reports

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners
• Multilingual skills or bilingual ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and proficiency in multi-line phone systems
• Ability to handle guest relations diplomatically and resolve issues efficiently
• Knowledge of hospitality management software is a plus; willingness to learn new systems required
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed
• Prior hotel experience or resort background is advantageous but not mandatory
