Machine Builder / Assembler

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Builder / Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, precision measurement, and the ability to interpret technical schematics and blueprints. Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate machinery components according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools to construct and modify parts
• Perform electrical wiring and install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as needed
• Operate CNC machines for precise fabrication of parts when required
• Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges
• Fabricate custom parts using welding, machining, and fabrication techniques
• Maintain safety standards while working with industrial equipment and power tools
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues during assembly or testing phases
• Support the installation and setup of assembled machinery in production environments

Skills

• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical wiring
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes and programming is a plus
• Skilled in welding techniques for fabrication tasks
• Strong mechanical knowledge including assembly, fabrication, and use of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to operate calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and other precision measuring instruments
• Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory
• Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, and assembly
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
