For the past century, HPS has grown to deliver electrical power solutions to global markets and provides solutions for complex applications like, mining, rectifier, drives, traction, wind, solar and many other electrical power applications. The world relies on HPS to continually conceive and produce state-of-the-art transformer technology. We currently have an opening for US Warehouse Manager, come grow with us!

Reporting to the Director, Logistics and Compliance, The US Warehouse manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of all HPS owned, 3PL and representative (rep) warehouses across the United States. This role ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of warehouse operations, including inventory control, logistics, and HPS staff management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

This Role Is Responsible For The Following

• Warehouse Operations Management
• Oversee daily operations of all HPS-owned, 3PL and rep finished goods warehouses.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, security and productivity standards.
• Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures.
• Executes within the annual budget.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans to address areas of improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Staff Management
• Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Logistics and Distribution
• Communicating with various teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, internal and external.
• Optimize warehouse layouts and storage solutions for efficiency, standardizing best practices and operations excellence.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.
• Inventory Control
• Manage inventory accuracy procedures and execution to ensure optimal stock accuracy.
• Facilitate regular audits and cycle counts.
• Implement inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies.
  

Do you qualify? We are seeking:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration
• 6 years of experience in warehouse management and inventory control software.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) preferred
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies preferred
• Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives forward.
