Position Summary
This is more than a traditional People & Culture Generalist opportunity. As Mesta Electronics, Inc continues its growth, we are seeking a highly motivated People & Culture professional who is excited to help build the next chapter of our organization.
Reporting to the Director, People & Culture - USA, the People & Culture Generalist serves as the primary People and Culture partner for the Mesta Electronics operation, working closely with leadership and employees to support growth, talent acquisition, employee relations, engagement, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives.
In addition, this role will play an important role in supporting Health & Safety programs and initiatives at the site while partnering with regional EHS leadership to strengthen our culture of safety and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
Employee Relations, Talent Development & Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on workplace matters.
- Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and engagement.
- Support organizational change initiatives associated with site growth and expansion.
- Lead workplace investigations and support conflict resolution efforts.
- Partner with business leaders to develop workforce plans, implement innovative talent sourcing strategies, and continuously improve hiring effectiveness to attract and retain top talent.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, reference checks, offer facilitation, and onboarding support.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, support system enhancements, and develop meaningful people metrics, reports, and dashboards that enable data-driven business decisions.
- Lead and support People & Culture initiatives and organizational projects by analyzing workforce trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing actionable insights that support business growth and operational excellence.
- Help build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Health, Safety & Environmental Partnership
- Champion a strong safety culture aligned with our vision of zero injuries.
- Partner with operations and regional EHS leaders to strengthen site safety performance.
- Support safety training, audits, investigations, compliance programs, and corrective action initiatives.
- Assist in developing employee awareness and engagement in safety programs.
- Participate in risk assessments and continuous improvement activities.
- Coordinate return-to-work, accommodation, and wellness initiatives.
- Gain valuable experience supporting broader EHS programs that will expand as the site continues to grow.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, Safety, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration.
- Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
Preferred candidate attributes:
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence leaders.
- Interest in developing expertise across both Human Resources and Health & Safety disciplines.
- Experience supporting growth, organizational change, or workforce expansion initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and desire to progress into People & Culture leadership roles.
