Job Description
A staff nurse is a nurse who:
- Is responsible for the direct and indirect care of the patients assigned during a given period of time.
- Adheres to the Nursing standards of care for the department.
- Works closely with all members of the professional team, medical staff, patients and their families.
Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
