Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Mechanic based in Grand Rapids, MN. The Field Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks for heavy equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The role requires travel to various job sites and collaboration with a skilled team to address mechanical needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair techniques
- Proficient expertise with Heavy Equipment and its operations
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Previous experience in construction or related industries is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a bonus
