Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks, contributing to the successful completion of diverse building projects. Responsibilities

• Assist with framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and fixture mounting according to project specifications
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing various building components
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks such as moving materials, rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry work
• Support restoration projects including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, mold remediation, and structural repairs
• Install siding, roofing materials, doors, cabinets, flooring, tile laying, and other fixtures with precision
• Follow safety protocols related to power tool use, scaffolding setup, metal stud framing, electrical work, plumbing tasks, and general site safety

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and building processes
• Ability to read construction plans and technical drawings accurately
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Experience with framing carpentry (wood or metal), fixture installation, drywall finishing, and remodeling projects
• Knowledge of construction estimating principles is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces
• Familiarity with safety standards such as power tool safety protocols and site safety procedures
• Prior experience in restoration industry work or water damage restoration is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions
