Hammer & Nails is a men’s luxury barbershop. We specialize in delivering exceptional grooming experiences designed exclusively for men.We are seeking a Nail Technician to join our Leesburg, VA shop. We are open to part-time or full-time candidates.You must hold a Nail Technician or Cosmetology License (highly preferred). If you are not licensed, you will need to commit to completing within two years our DC sanctioned nail tech apprenticeship program.Pay:The hourly range is $17 to $20 per hour to start. With gratuity this adds another $10 to $20 per hour.Hours:We have flexibility with the schedule but ideally, we would like candidates who can work Friday, Saturday, and Sundays those being the busiest days with the most earning potentials. Also, candidates who can work evenings as well are highly preferred.Key Responsibilities:Provide professional 30, 45, and 60 minute manicures and pedicures tailored to men’s grooming needs.Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation for all tools and workstations.Prepare and reset service areas between clients; ensure towels, tools, and products are well-stocked and ready.Recommend and educate clients on nail and skin care products to enhance their experience.Deliver a consistently elevated level of hospitality, anticipating client needs and exceeding expectations.Support shop cleanliness and upkeep, including disinfecting and organizing all nail stations.Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with trends and Hammer & Nails service standards.Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming, professional, and efficient shop environment.Qualifications:Valid Virginia Nail Technician or Cosmetology License (highly preferred). If you are not licensed, you will need to commit to completing within two years our sanctioned nail tech apprenticeship program.
