Job Purpose

The Retail Stylists are the stars of our business. Stylists drive positive sales results by developing loyal clients. Stylists are passionate brand ambassadors and roll up their sleeves to ensure our mission of putting people first is always achieved.

Responsibilities

Achieve Sales Results

• Create a positive, friendly, and consultative service-oriented customer environment that prioritizes customer relationships and sets Hammer Made apart from other stores.
• Drive personal daily and weekly sales results to meet monthly targets.
• Handle customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures; escalate issues as appropriate.
• Offer suggestions to the leadership team about how to improve daily sales trends.
  
  

Operational Expectations

• Ensure company standards of neat, clean and organized sales floor, cash wrap and fitting room areas are met.
• Take part in visual merchandising initiatives. Help execute and ensure a top-quality, appealing, merchandise assortment that promotes effective sales and store traffic.
• Assist with promotion of in-store events and promotions to increase the customer base, with a particular focus on building the Hammer Made brand.
• Collaborate effectively with other store locations and with outside Business Partners as needed.

Education And Experience Requirements

• High School diploma
• 1-2 years of successful retail experience and/or customer service experience, preferred
  
  

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment This job operates in a retail store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Physical requirements include: standing and being mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time, walking, stooping, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  
  

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This will be a part-time position scheduled at variable times and days each week to meet business needs. Schedules include week-ends and holidays. 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm shifts available during the week and weekends until 9:00 pm needed. Approximately 15 hours a week.
