The Truck Wash Manager will be a responsible, mechanically and technologically inclined, independent problem solver. This person will be a strong communicator, effectively navigating various vendor, customer, and employee needs while maintaining a clean, efficient truck wash facility.

Requirements:

  • Promotes a positive brand image and supports a positive customer experience.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the truck wash, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage and monitor the financial performance of the truck wash, including payroll and purchases.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, resolving customer issues quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure all machines and equipment are functioning as expected and communicates needs for parts, repairs and/or new equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Supports and completes seasonal building and landscape maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain the safety of employees and customers, while ensuring all wash quality is consistent and up to company standards.
  • Oversee equipment and chemical stock, placing orders for new supplies and inventory when appropriate.
  • Direct and take responsibility for the Truck Wash Attendants training, processes and success.
  • Jump in and wash run or run the front desk as needed.
  • Work closely with ownership and other staff in developing a cooperative team that effectively represents the quality and professionalism of the company.
  • Drive business development through relationship building and recurring membership sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain an organized business and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Display excellent communication skills, customer service and problem-solving skills on a continual basis.
  • Must keep the grounds, common areas, wash bays and equipment room clean.
  • Maintains open, clear and timely communication with owners.
  • Represents the company in a professional manner at all times, on or off truck wash property.
  • Maintains a high level of safety standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift and/or climb, reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear, sometimes in a loud environment.
  • Regularly required to lift heavy weight (50 pounds or greater) above shoulder height or move heavy weights (250 pounds or greater) along ground.
  • Maintain an upright standing position for an excess of 8 hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Intermediate knowledge of the use of tablets and PC hardware and software. Ability to learn and use computer software in Google Suites and Microsoft Office products and other software pertinent to job. Basic understanding of networking hardware and reset procedures.
  • High School Diploma, GED or other equivalent in technical training required.
  • Two years of previous employment in a fast-paced operational setting required.
  • One year of previous management experience required.
  • Previous experience with car wash, trucking, building maintenance, automotive or other technical trades preferred.

Compensation:

  • Salary: Competitive salary with high bonus potential based on individual performance, team performance and location success.
  • Schedule: Full-time, salaried position, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
  • Flexibility: Pre-communicated and agreed upon time off may be available.
