We're hiring a Security Guard to monitor and patrol our community, providing a safe environment for residents and associates. This role reports to the Director of Engineering and does not supervise other associates.
What You'll Do
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards; work twelve-hour shifts when needed
- Maintain correct use and maintenance of equipment
- Anticipate resident, guest, and staff needs and respond promptly
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Participate in staff activities that build teamwork and morale
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous security experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of security/safety practices pertaining to long-term healthcare
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform fine manipulation
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted on a regular basis
- Normal or corrected vision and hearing, including color recognition
Working Environment
- Work is performed in a well-lit, well-ventilated community setting, with occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, water, and noise
