Job Summary
**Interviews and training will occur at TradeWinds RV in Clio, MI. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RV Service and Parts Manager to lead our service and parts departments with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, submit warranty claims, schedule appointments coordinate with suppliers, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive efficiency, optimize supply chain processes, and foster a team environment focused on quality RV diagnostics, repair, and parts management. Duties
- Lead and supervise the RV service and parts teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences and operational efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, including warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, and inventory control to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Manage procurement activities by sourcing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, negotiating with suppliers, and controlling pricing strategies.
- Distribute work orders to technicians daily and manage work flow through the shop
- Coordinate demand planning, demand forecasting, and logistics to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and customer needs.
- Implement supply chain management best practices, including sourcing strategies, vendor management, and procurement management.
- Overs diagnostics, repair processes, body repair coordination, equipment repair, HVAC systems maintenance, and service standards.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations related to warehouse experience, forklift operation certification, shipping & receiving protocols, and equipment handling.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing data on inventory levels, pricing trends, and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Submitting warranty claims and following through the entire process to make sure claims are paid
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dealership or automotive service management with a strong background in supply chain management and procurement.
- Extensive knowledge of RV diagnostics, repair procedures and processes, HVAC systems, equipment repair, and OEM parts sourcing.
- Familiarity with warehouse management practices including inventory control, shipping & receiving procedures, forklift operation certification, and warehouse experience.
- Proficiency in computer systems.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge related to RV systems combined with excellent data entry skills for accurate record keeping.
- Experience in logistics planning including demand forecasting and sourcing strategies for automotive parts.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to lead a team focused on delivering high-quality support to clients.
- Ability to analyze supply chain data for continuous process improvement; familiarity with pricing strategies is advantageous.
