Position Summary:
The Manager of Production is responsible for the day-to-day operations of cremation across all sites with capacity for processing. This includes managing a matrixed team responsible for cremation and aquamation in our hub and spoke model. This position will report to the CEO and will work closely with other department supervisors (Memorial Special Services Supervisor, Fleet Manager, Packaging Supervisor, Customer Service Supervisor, and Retail Site Managers). to ensure that our products and services are delivered with the utmost of quality, meet our service levels to our customers and clients, maintenance schedules are adhered to for all capital equipment, training is developed, monitored, management and leading our employees in an effective manner according to our mission and values. All regulatory requirements including support from the Department of Environmental Resources in the states we operate are adhered to include proper compliance data and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain operation schedule to meet pet parent requirements of 7-day return, 100% accuracy and going beyond customer expectations.
- Maintain and execute a daily, weekly, monthly, annual maintenance schedule of all assets used in production.
- Primary point of contact for all regulatory agencies regarding our operations.
- Implement 5 S and utilize Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
- Execute and maintain according to regulatory requirements for our sites where we aquamate and cremate.
- Remain highly organized and disciplined time management.
- Promote a strong work ethic.
- Interacting with families of the deceased pets when errors occur.
- Answering questions about cremation services and products.
- Leadership and Management of a team of shift leads and team members.
- Meticulous details in data capture on productivity and quality.
- Researching and identifying gaps in process for efficiency and improvement.
- Supporting regulatory agency operating procedures.
- Support expanding service area geographically.
- Generating reports and giving presentations to the supervisory team.
- Leading daily team standup meetings and site operations meetings, good facilitation skills.
- Manage administrative tasks according to Entrepreneur Operating System to include Human Resource performance evaluations and daily scorecard.

Base Pay: $53,348.58 - $64,247.75 per year
