Outside Salesperson/ Southern Maine
Purpose:
The Outside Salesperson is responsible for providing sales and service to our wholesale customers in the Southern Maine area from Kittery to Newcastle. This on-the-road position is a full-time salaried role. The purpose is to develop and increase sales to wholesale customers in the marine industries while professionally representing Hamilton Marine in the field. Hamilton Marine supplies a company vehicle, cellphone and computer.
Qualified Sales candidates should be self-motivated, willing to learn, and excited to grow along with our company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Familiar with Outside Sales.
- Possess knowledge of marine industry products.
- Excellent people skills, outgoing personality and the willingness to work with customers to exceed their expectations.
- Driving in all seasons and in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications:
- Provide excellent customer experiences.
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude.
- Professionalism and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn about Marine, Commercial Fishing and Boatbuilding products.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience with the coastal road routes of Maine.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for 8 or more hours per day
- Lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Perform continuous lift/carry/push/pull of heavy and awkward items
Working Conditions:
- Indoor and/or Outdoor setting
- Significant time driving.
- Some Warehouse exposure.
