Job Description:
The Home Care Aide will provide a client with assistance and companionship according to their service plan.
Personal Care Services:
- Dressing & Grooming
- Medication reminders
- Cooking/food prep
- Feeding
- Assistance with sitting, standing, & laying down
Homemaking Services:
- Laundry
- Dishes
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Sweeping
- Bathrooms
- Feeding Pets
Companion Care Services:
- Letter writing
- Mail reading
- Socializing
- Daily activities such as puzzles, painting, & exercise
Transportation Services:
- Escorting the client to activities outside of the home, such as grocery shopping, doctor appointments, & social groups
Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Experience: (Not required but preferred)
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration.
Experience providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia is advantageous.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information.
Hands-on experience with caregiving tasks such as assisting with ADLs, meal preparation, light cleaning, and use of mobility aids like Hoyer lifts.
Training or certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable to respond effectively in emergencies.
Previous work involving home health or hospice care provides valuable insight into compassionate patient support across diverse settings.
