Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site position located in Durham, NC. The Associate Goldsmith will assist in creating designs, performing high-quality repairs, setting and tightening stones, resizing, polishing, and more. This position will collaborate with the Master Goldsmith on custom jewelry designs and repairs. Expectations include maintaining workshop tools and equipment, and ensuring quality craftsmanship. Additionally, the role will involve engaging with clients, offering excellent customer service, and supporting sales as needed.

- Proficiency and hands-on experience in goldsmithing, jewelry design, and repair
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist clients effectively
- Experience in sales and a passion for helping clients find unique, high-quality jewelry pieces
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team and adapt within a dynamic gallery environment
- Prior experience in a jewelry or crafts-related field is highly beneficial
