What You’ll Do
As our Nutrition Manager, you will prepare nutritious, delicious meals that fuel learning and growth in our center each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready kitchen
- Communicate with the center leadership to manage inventory and supplies
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations
- Support teachers and staff in creating a respectful, professional environment
- Receive and store deliveries properly
- Identify and suggest new recipes that align with our nutrition standards
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience safely operating kitchen equipment (knives, ovens, roasters, etc.)
- Knowledge of food preparation, production processes, and quality control
- Experience with inventory management
- Understanding of food safety and chemical handling procedures
- Ability to follow direction and meet daily deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts (excluding breaks)
- Comfortable working in a warm kitchen environment
- Ability to remove trash and transport supplies
- Safe lifting and cart-handling skills
