Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray and Computed Tomography (CT). Your expertise will support patient care across diverse clinical settings, including urgent care, emergency rooms, and trauma centers. Duties

  • Operate radiologic imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, fluoroscopy units, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, and nuclear medicine devices to produce detailed diagnostic images.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring proper positioning, and applying aseptic techniques when necessary.
  • Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to perform diagnostic evaluations in various settings such as urgent care centers, emergency rooms, Level I trauma centers, and interventional radiology suites.
  • Conduct specialized imaging procedures including interventional radiography, angiography, and fluoroscopy for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment calibration records.
  • Assist in training new staff or students on radiologic procedures and safety measures to uphold high standards of patient care and technical proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with valid state licensure.
  • Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT, PET scan, mammography, DEXA scan, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine devices.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
  • Experience working in emergency medicine environments or Level I/II trauma centers is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols.
  • Ability to perform complex imaging procedures including interventional radiology techniques and ultrasound-based sonography.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques for invasive procedures and experience in high-pressure clinical settings such as urgent care or emergency departments is advantageous.

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
