Long-Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher

HFM BOCES PTECH Program has an opening and is accepting applications for Long-Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher. This position is from September 8, 2026 through December 23rd, 2026.

PTECH, or Pathways in Technology Early College High School, is a 6-year program that incorporates project-based learning and professional skills training as students work toward their 2-year degree from SUNY Fulton-Montgomery or SUNY Cobleskill.

Certification: Social Studies 7-12

TEACH Clearance

Per Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, to be employed in a position designated by a school district or BOCES as involving direct contact with students, a clearance for employment from the State Education Department is required. Formal job offer/selection is contingent on ability to obtain a fingerprint security clearance through the TEACH system prior to working.
