Experienced, take charge professional with ability to manage the execution of a variety of social events (including but not limited to weddings, golf outings, meeting events, club social events, etc.) working with all departments to ensure client/member satisfaction is exceeded.
Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
- Responsible for all club-hosted member event and works in accordance with the Club Calendar and entertainment budget, books all entertainment and décor. Creates BEOs and works with all departments to ensure proper set-up. Attends and oversees all member events.
- Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters.
- Assist with managing on-site production and clean up and reset for events as necessary.
- Responsible for scheduling and hosting all wedding tastings.
- Schedules week of walk thru of large celebrations to confirm details, takes receipt of all event items and then acts as Day of Contact/Coordinator ensuring that BEO is properly followed and service is properly executed.
- Close out all events as needed.
- Responsible for preparing all printed materials for events and tastings (menu cards, table numbers, seating cards, etc.)
- Contacts all vendors that will be working on property to ensure accurate event details, adherence to all Club polices and requests/receives all certificate of liability insurance prior to arrival on property.
- Coordinate with Department Leaders to ensure proper stock and inventory of necessities
- Spearheads all event related social media in accordance with the weekly marketing plan.
- Responsible for staff scheduling according to set up requirements and events
- Responsible for all event billing
- Must be detail orientated.
- Possess innate hospitably, outstanding customer service and high expectations for quality.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments at one time.
- Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.
- Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree.
- Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Office
Position Type: Full Time, Salary - commensurate with experience

Experience Required: Some experience in fine dining service a plus.
