What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Special Education Teacher position at Hamilton Elementary School?
The Hamilton R-2 School District is currently accepting applications for an Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Knowledge of the special education referral process and experience doing academic testing is a plus. We are located 40 miles east of St. Joseph at the intersection of Hwy 36 and Hwy 13. Hamilton Elementary School has an enrollment of approximately 305students PK-5th grade. The candidate should have proper certification, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of the Missouri Learning Standards. Ideal candidates should also have knowledge of positive behavior support, strong classroom management, and willingness to collaborate and work in a teaching team environment.
