Before/After School Childcare Support Staff (Hamilton Elementary)
Job Summary: Hamilton Community Schools is seeking an individual to serve as before and after school childcare staff member.
Location: Hamilton Elementary
Reports To: Before & After School Childcare Coordinator
FLSA STATUS: Nonexempt
Hourly Pay Rate: $15.64/hour
Hours:
- School year work hours: Monday-Friday 3:45-6pm
- Availability to work as scheduled on planned district full/half days (6 hour shifts), and extra hours as needed to complete professional development requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise and support children as directed by the site supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Must maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Experience working with children preferred
- Have a caring, patient, flexible demeanor
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must receive background check, and additional onboarding training requirements.
- High school students may apply for the 3:45-6pm shift.
