**Position Summary**
The CCBHC Healthcare Technician will provide case coordination, outreach, and advocacy services to individuals entering CCBHC.
The CCBHC Healthcare Technician may assist in conducting initial health screenings and development of a coordinated treatment plan.
These clinics are required to provide a comprehensive set of services for children and adults including 24/7 crisis services; outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment services; immediate screenings, risk assessments, and diagnoses; and care coordination with emergency rooms, law enforcement, and veteran groups. The CCBHC model provides an integrated model for care delivery to reduce overall healthcare costs and improve patient outcomes.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities**

Interact with, monitor, educate, and assist consumers in the performance of activities of daily living in accordance with the goal and objectives identified on the individualized treatment plan.
Monitor consumer self-administration of medications and document medications in the medication administration register (MAR).
Maintain records in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
Interact appropriately with consumers, visitors, family members and providers in a confidential, therapeutic, ethical and responsible manner.
Provide direct care to a consumers needs including assistance with personal hygiene tasks, bathing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Utilize and assist in safety management, emergency procedures, and nonviolent crisis prevention intervention in crisis situations.
Assist with inventory and general maintenance of supplies, facilities, and equipment.
Complete housekeeping duties as assigned to maintain a clean, orderly and safe living environment.
Transport consumers to and from appointments and community outings.
Complete errands related to consumer care and facility maintenance.
Participate in consumer treatment planning and implementation under the direction of professional staff involved in patient care.
Work under the direction of professional staff to ensure all shift duties are completed.
Attend and participate in any required staff meetings and trainings.
Assist with admission and discharge of consumers as assigned using the electronic medical record.
Provides age-appropriate life skills and development training (STD) and other mental health interventions to consumers individually or in groups in accordance with the treatment plan.
Obtain vital signs, height and weight and document in consumer record.
Monitor, document, and when applicable prepare meals and snacks for consumers nutritional intake.
Obtain knowledge of substance abuse / addiction issues or related work experience that would be beneficial
Demonstrate competent use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
OBHP qualified staff will be required to complete OBHP modules within 90-days of hire
or after transferring into an OBHP position.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Maintain a valid drivers license in accordance with HCI motor vehicle policy
Maintain current Crisis Prevention Inter ention (CPI) certification
Maintain current American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

40 hour work week
Overtime rate after 40 working hours
On call schedule in support of crisis
Nights and weekends periodically
