Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using the VADA POS system , ensuring all guest requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit transactions securely.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or fine dining settings is preferred.
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
