Cosmetic Business Manager (K-Beauty/ ByUR)

ByUR was established in 2022 in Korea and offers high-quality, trend-driven K-beauty products. The brand name originates from the phrase “by your side,” symbolizing ByUR’s commitment to always being by your side to replenish and revitalize your skin.

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Cosmetic Team Manager to lead and expand our K-beauty cosmetics team and grow the ByUR skincare/cosmetics line in the U.S. market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and profit & loss (P&L) management, along with a passion for beauty and a deep understanding of the cosmetics industry. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while working closely with our manufacturing partners in Korea.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to meet and exceed sales goals and drive overall departmental profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the cosmetics team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Conduct regular team evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to enhance individual and team performance.
• Oversee inventory planning and control to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize overstock or shortages.
• Analyze sales reports and market data to identify performance trends and areas for business improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing to design and execute promotional campaigns that boost customer engagement and sales.
• Stay informed on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining compliance with internal policies and delivering high standards of customer service.
• Communicate and coordinate with Korea teams on product selection, packaging localization (English adaptation), ordering, and inventory management for the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cosmetics or retail management, with a strong track record in driving sales performance.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire and effectively manage diverse teams.
• Proficient in strategic planning, P&L management, and business development.
• Strong project management skills and a history of successfully leading process improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with internal teams and customers.
• Passionate about beauty and familiar with current and emerging trends in the cosmetics industry.
• Experience with K-beauty products and branding is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Korean or Japanese is preferred for effective coordination with international teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
