What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintanence position at HAMDALLAH LLC?
Job Summary
The Maintenance Worker is to perform upkeep tasks such as applying basic fixes to equipment and repairing building systems to ensure facilities are being upkept. The maintenance worker will need to follow a work schedule set by the maintenance supervisor/manager and work in a timely manner focusing his/her goal ultimately towards preventative maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain all store, warehouse and corporate office in top condition to ensure full and productive use of all facilities.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on the wall etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Move equipment and materials within and between stores, warehouse, and office
- Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs.
- Performs touch up and finish painting
- Report to Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress
Requirements Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, finishing and electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electric tools
- Work overtime when emergencies arise in order to prevent disruption of sales in stores.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred
