- This is a 12-month, part-time position requiring approximately 1.5 hours per day
- Will work with the successful candidate to determine the best work schedule
- The hourly rate is $16.34
- This position is governed by the Hamburg Area Support Professionals Agreement and requires a probation period of 90 workdays.
- This position is not benefits eligible

Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Educational Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
- A valid driver's license that allows the applicant/employee to legally operate a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania. License must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
- Knowledge of basic Hamburg Area School District work policies and guidelines; knowledge of departmental practices and procedures.
- Ability to understand, explain, and apply written and oral instructions, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to work without direct supervision to carry out assignments to completion; ability to meet predetermined deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work flexible hours or shifts as necessary for the efficient operation of the department.
- Ability to recognize and report hazards and apply safe work methods.
- Ability to learn a delivery route rapidly.
- Ability to read and understand street maps and/ global positioning system.
- Ability to sort and distribute mail.
- Ability to drive a vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work.
- Ability to work in confined areas.
- Ability to safely move and relocate heavy objects.
- Possess physical and mental stamina commensurate with the responsibilities of the position

- Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Pick up, deliver and distribute supplies for food services, mail, packages and test materials from buildings throughout the School District.
- Load and unload delivery vehicle.
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
- Conform to safety standards, as prescribed.
- Perform related duties consistent with job description and assignment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
