Cashier

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Duties:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan items, collect payments, and provide change
- Ensure pricing is accurate and promotions are applied
- Bag purchases and offer assistance with carrying items if needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Process returns and exchanges following company policies
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling
- Familiarity with cash registers and electronic payment systems is a plus
- Experience in stock management or electronics/wireless sales is an advantage

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient customer service
- Strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
