Factory Machine Operator

Duties and responsibilities

*** SHOULD BE LOCAL TO KAMUELA/WAIMEA AREA

• Set up and operate machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret specifications to determine machining operations
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each job
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to meet specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Stack boxes, clean factory after production
• Visually inspect the product streams for shell pieces and foreign materials.
• Package a variety products according to specifications as directed by Supervisor
• Correctly tag/label all finished product boxes with date code and style number
• Work safely and observe all safety rules and regulations
• Fills boxes, seal boxes and stack boxes of finished product
• Stack products on pallets
• Cleaning duties as assigned
• Full Sanitation Duties with Training
• Opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Inform supervisor of any and all food safety concerns
• Any Other Duties as requested by Supervisor

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating machines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
