Position Summary:
Halter Materials and Landscape Supply is seeking reliable and safety-focused Seasonal Delivery Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting landscaping materials and supplies from our yard to residential and commercial job sites. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent service while operating vehicles safely and efficiently.
Reports To:
Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated job sites in a timely manner
- Follow daily delivery schedules and adapt to changing priorities as needed
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and field crews to coordinate deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of delivery vehicles
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to navigate local routes efficiently using GPS and maps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
