Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer’s responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, designing new products and processes, as well as ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards.
To be successful as a Manufacturing Engineer you should be able to work effectively within a team and have a high level of technical expertise. An outstanding Manufacturing Engineer should be able to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
Requirements:
The Manufacturing Engineer must have at a minimum of the following attributes:
•Strong organization and project management skills and use of Microsoft Project (or equivalent)
•Strong experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery
•Strong problem solving/trouble shooting experience with excellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills
•The ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Office
•Must have the ability to travel when needed
Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for fulfilling the following tasks when required:
•Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement
•Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements
•Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow
•Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products
•Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems
•Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations
•Maintaining research and development activity documentation and preparing reports
•Perform other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by Management

Education:
•High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
•A Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (Required)
Experience:
•Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience within a CNC machining environment using lathes, mills, and mill-turn platforms (3 to 5 years)
•Experience using 3D CAD, preferably Solidworks (3 years)
•Experience with CAM, preferably Gibbs and Mastercam (2 years)
•Experience with capital project management and justification (1-2 years)
•ERP Software experience (preferred)
