Warehouse Shipping Clerk / Material Handler

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, inventory transactions, and order fulfillment.  This role ensures customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately while maintaining inventory accuracy within NetSuite and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Generate shipping labels and shipping documentation.
• Process Item Fulfillments and inventory transactions.
• Process and manage ASN’s (Advanced Shipping Notices) for customer shipments as required.
• Ensure ASN information is accurate and submitted on time.
• Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities against packing slips.
• Identify and communicate shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Operations as needed.
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
• Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Provide tracking information and shipment updates as needed

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & SAFETY COMPLIANCE

·         Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and warehouse environment.

·         Assist with proper packaging and safe movement of products throughout the facility.

·         Handle and process shipments containing cases of butane canisters in accordance with company procedures and warehouse safety guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, fulfillment, or ASN processing experience preferred.

·         Experience using ERP and Shipping Manifest systems; NetSuite experience preferred.

·         Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

·          Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.

·         Ability to lift and move materials safely.

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through the safe movement, storage, staging, and organization of materials and inventory throughout the facility. This role supports production operations, warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and efficient material flow.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Move inventory and materials to designated warehouse locations.
• Pull and stage materials for production and assembly operations.
• Replenish production floor inventory as needed.
• Assist with unloading inbound shipments.
• Support outbound shipment preparation and palletizing.
• Maintain organized warehouse storage locations.
• Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy activities.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Operate material handling equipment safely.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & SAFETY COMPLIANCE

·         Safely move, store, and organize inventory, including cases of butane canisters, throughout the warehouse and production areas.

·          Assist with pallet organization, warehouse cleanliness, and safe material flow.

·         Operate material handling equipment safely and responsibly.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.

·         Forklift experience or certification preferred.

·         Ability to safely lift and move materials throughout the workday.

·         Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

·         Basic inventory or warehouse system experience is a plus.
