5am-1:30pm weekdays $20.50
1:30pm-12am Mon-Thurs - $22
Frequent OT for both 1st and 2nd shift
The Material Handler plays a vital role in our operations by efficiently handling materials and finished goods within the plant and on plant grounds. Must have standup forklift experience from within a manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Review job orders to determine specific handling requirements.
- Move materials from storage or work sites to designated areas using power equipment (e.g., LP Sit-down and Electric standup) or by hand when appropriate.
- Perform picking and packing tasks.
- Conduct cycle counting and generate reports.
- Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, shelves, or vehicles.
- Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent in-transit movement or damage.
- Assemble crates and pallets for material/product storage and shipment.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand job requirements, shop drawings, and blueprints.
- 3 years of material handling/ stand up forklift operator experience required.
- RF Scan Gun use
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
