Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings, equipment, and grounds in a safe, clean, and efficient operating condition. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment, complete general building maintenance, and support the overall operation of our facility. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facility assets.
• Complete general building repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and structural maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Perform machine changeovers and support production equipment as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety concerns.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating larger repair and maintenance projects.
• Perform general machine maintenance, including lubrication and oil changes.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Paint and stain interior and exterior surfaces as needed.
• Remove snow and apply ice melt to sidewalks, entrances, and parking areas during winter weather.
• Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance activities.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work schedules.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repair practices.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
