There's a seat at our table for you… Pay: $22.50-24.50/hr Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am until Finish Benefits: Medical, Prescription Drug, EFAP Benefits after 30 days of employment Dental, vision and other voluntary plans Pre-Tax Saving Accounts Profit Sharing Position Summary: Inspects equipment and systems for any issues as well as scheduling repairs for faulty equipment. Performs general maintenance of facility and grounds. Essential Functions: Maintains and performs daily preventive maintenance on material handling equipment. Repairs or replaces defective parts using hands and/or power tools. Maintains battery room and chargers to include charging and changing batteries for material handling equipment. Observes mechanical devices in operation and locates causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, hands, and/or power tools. Maintains equipment rooms in a neat and orderly fashion. Follows through and completes all work orders. Maintains appropriate levels of material handling equipment maintenance supplies. Designs, implements, and reviews daily operator’s checklist procedures. Logs/updates asset software for all maintenance and repair so it can be tracked. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines, including OSHA. Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization. Maintains peer relationships in the field to share issues and ideas. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge / Skills / Experience: Working knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of maintenance. Ability to follow directions, standard procedures and respond to instructions Ability to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures. Must have ability to read, write and communicate in English. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
