The Process Engineer should be:
- A highly motivated and self-directed individual with a proven track-record of working cross-functionally to design, plan, optimize, and run production processes.
- Own a specific process from start to finish.
- Accountability to coordinate and implement small projects and process improvements using the proper work protocol.
- Has experience in production management, production planning, design engineering, and statistical process control methodology (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, TQM, etc.).
Education and Experience:
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
- 4 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong project management skills is a must.
- People management experience is a must.
- Experience in both batch and continuous production processes.
- Experience in design engineering.
- Experience in statistical process control methodology.
- Excellent Organizational skills with capacity to handle both large and small projects.
- Organize/analyze generated data and prepare recommendations based on project requirements.
- Computer knowledge required including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Minitab, DCS Systems, PI Process Book etc.
- Commitment to a strong safety culture. Must be able to handle hazardous chemicals and work in a hazardous chemical environment.
