Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of coating projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to coatings applications and construction site plans.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to ensure compliance and cost control.
- Oversee construction site activities related to coatings application, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Utilize construction estimating tools such as Stack or similar software for accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality standards, and adherence to schematics and specifications.
- Implement project management best practices including time management, risk mitigation, and effective communication strategies.
- Use construction estimating techniques combined with blueprint reading skills to prepare accurate cost proposals.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained meticulously for future reference and compliance audits.
Experience
- Proven experience managing coating or construction projects within a residential, commercial or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, contract management, and blueprint reading with a focus on coatings or related trades.
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations including safety procedures and quality control measures.
- Familiarity with schematic interpretation for coatings applications and civil/site plans.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
