You will be based at our partner locations in Temecula, Murietta, Riverside, CA - rotating between these sites, providing education, coordinating care, and assisting with phlebotomy. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure a seamless, supportive, and professional patient experience.In addition to competitive compensation, this position includes a comprehensive benefits package and stock options in a fast-growing health tech company.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide education and support for high-risk patients undergoing genetic testing.Register patients and schedule follow-up appointments.Build trust and confidence with patients by explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.Accurately verify and label patient specimens at the time of collection.Maintain documentation, patient records, and uphold HIPAA compliance.Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.Collaborate with the clinical team and area supervisor to complete daily tasks efficiently.Serve as a key patient contact, embodying HALO's commitment to precision care and early detection.QualificationsRequired:2 years of recent experience as a Medical Assistant working with a clinical team, OR a bachelor's degree (or senior soon to graduate) with strong communication skills, empathy, and an interest in medicine, genetics, or patient-facing healthcare roles.
