Regional insurance defense firm seeks Associate Attorney for remote work, with potential partnership opportunities for lateral candidates! Utah attorneys with limited or extensive experience invited to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Legal research and writing including pleadings, motions, written discovery, disclosures, and other litigation documents.
- Business writing and other effective communication with clients, claims professionals, witnesses and opposing counsel.
- Manage and conduct all phases of litigation, including evaluation of claims, defenses, and next steps.
- Conduct depositions, argue motions, try cases.
Qualifications:
- Utah Bar license required; licenses in Wyoming or Colorado a plus.
- Must be located in Utah.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Experience with insurance defense preferred but not necessary.
Skills:
- Proficiency with LexisNexis for effective legal research.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex laws and regulations accurately.
- Self starter.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
