This Title Agent position is a key part of that effort.Position SummaryAs a Title Agent supporting projects in Lawton and the greater Comanche County, Oklahoma area, you will research, verify, and document ownership rights for mineral, surface, and leasehold estates. Your work will help support drilling decisions, leasing strategy, development planning, and other key land activities tied to oil and gas operations in this region.You will complete chain of title from patent to present, prepare clear and defensible reports, and identify irregularities that could impact operations. The ideal candidate brings two to five years of title experience, is comfortable working in Oklahoma records, thrives under clear expectations, and takes pride in delivering client ready work with minimal micromanagement.Key ResponsibilitiesTitle Research and Ownership VerificationConduct thorough title research for surface, mineral, and leasehold estates in Comanche County and surrounding Oklahoma counties from patent to presentPull, review, and interpret deeds, oil and gas leases, assignments, probate filings, easements, affidavits, and tax recordsIdentify gaps, discrepancies, and defects in the chain and flag issues early for reviewConfirm lease status including producing, non producing, and held by productionAnalyze ownership history and document how interests have transferred over timeSupport title needs tied to Oklahoma oil and gas development, leasing, and operational planningReporting, Analysis, and DocumentationPrepare detailed abstracts, run sheets, and
