Senior Integration Engineer

Halo Industries, Inc., a pioneer in manufacturing innovation with light-based technologies, seeks a highly skilled Senior System Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. Our proprietary advancements replace traditional processes with novel light-based equivalents, offering higher quality, lower cost, and enhanced functionality. As we rapidly expand our operations, we're looking for a team to oversee our prototype systems' integration and verification activities.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior System Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the successful integration, testing, and deployment of our cutting-edge laser-based wafer manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of complex electro-mechanical systems, software integration, and data analysis, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test complex laser-based systems, including optical, mechanical, electrical, and software components
• Perform detailed system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis of integration issues
• Help develop and implement automation tools for system test and data acquisition
• Collect and analyze system performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Configure and optimize system parameters for reliable operation
• Develop detailed assembly procedures for complex optomechanical subsystems, and validation test plans for subsystem validation
• Present findings and recommendations to engineering and management teams
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including assembly procedures, test procedures, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including optical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing personnel
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on system design and integration
  
  

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5 years of experience in system integration, preferably in a semiconductor, laser, or precision manufacturing environment
• Experience with assembling and testing complex electro-mechanical systems, including optics, lasers, motion control, and automation
• Experience with Electrical Lab Equipment: DMM, Variable Power Supply, Oscilloscope, Function Generators
• Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python)

• Proficiency in software programming languages such as Python, C#, or similar
• Experience with laser systems and optical alignment
• Knowledge of semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
