Key Responsibilities
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and verifying contents
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues as needed
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records using company systems
- Arrange shipments with carriers and ensure proper documentation is completed
- Move materials throughout the facility using carts or forklifts (if trained)
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse tasks as required
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/shipping systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 lbs with or without assistance
- Ability to bend, reach, and handle packaged materials regularly
- Manufacturing and warehouse setting
- Standard business hours with occasional overtime as business needs require
