What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Framer position at Halls General Contractor, LLC?
Join our construction team as a Construction Framer that builds the skeletal framework (walls, floors, roofs) of buildings by reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, and assembling material. Ensuring structural integrity and compliance with codes, using various hand/power tools. Key duties include interpreting plans, precise cutting, installing structural supports (studs, joists, beams), and ensuring everything is plumb, level, and square.
- Execute frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry with precision and attention to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely and effectively on-site
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Must speak Spanish
- Must have own transportation
- Experience in construction site work with a focus on framing or related trades
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical instructions for construction projects
- Ability to operate power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and long hours outdoors
