About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Scenic Decorator to help bring our immersive seasonal attractions to life. From holiday-themed environments to fully customized sets, this role requires a strong sense of design, an eye for detail, and the ability to execute high-quality décor in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the decoration of immersive rooms and themed spaces
- Install and style props, décor, lighting, and set pieces according to design specs
- Handle décor sourcing, organizing, and setup with attention to detail and cohesion
- Collaborate closely with the design and build teams
- Help maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization on job sites
- Load, unload, and move décor and materials (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in scenic decorating, set design, visual merchandising, event design, or a related field
- Strong visual design and spatial awareness
- Excellent problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Flexible/open availability, including potential evenings, weekends, or extended hours during install weeks
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with physical labor and hands-on work
- Travel availability is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Schedule:
- $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
- Seasonal position, with opportunities for additional year-round projects based on performance and availability
